Birthday Party FAQs

What time should my guests and I arrive at the party?

We ask that you and your guests arrive no more than 10 to 15 minutes prior to your scheduled party to allow time for check-in.

What are the rules for the deposit?

A $150 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your party unless the party package was discounted in which case we would require a 50% deposit. The balance is due and payable at least 7 days before your party, by cash or credit.  If you provide at least 14 days’ notice, you may reschedule your party and apply your deposit to any available date or time within the next 3 months. Any party cancelled with less than 14 days’ notice will forfeit their deposit.  Any party cancelled 7 days prior to the party date will forfeit their entire payment. We will work with you on weather related delays and do not count that as a cancellation.

How many guests can I invite?

Please refer to the Birthday Party page HERE to see our different party packages. Additional guests are welcome! There is a charge per additional child over the number included in your party package (adults and children under the age of 1 are not counted in the headcount). Do your best to estimate how many children will be attending. We will do an actual headcount at the end of your party to get a final count of children in attendance. If you are inviting more than 25 guests, please let us know at least 10 days prior to your party. Please keep in mind that we can only fit a maximum of 30 people total in the party room (kids and adults) at a time.

Will there be a Kidiverse staff member to assist me in the party room?

Yes. Your dedicated party host will handle every detail of your Kidiverse party!

What should I expect during my party?

It is our goal to make your child’s party the best party possible. Your host will take care of everything for you including, set-up, keeping the party flowing, escorting guests where they need to be, ensuring the guest of honor is happy, and cleaning up. Our hosts will work hard for you. Need something? Just ask!

How do I schedule a Kidiverse party?

For your convenience, you can book your party HERE online or give us a call and we will help you reserve your special event!

What food items can be brought into the facility?

Kidiverse is a nut-free facility. You may bring a birthday cake or cupcakes for your child’s party (no ice cream cake). No other outside food is permitted. Sparklers or specialty candles (other than the basic ones) are not allowed for safety purposes. They may cause the fire alarm to be set off which may result in having to evacuate the building.

Do you sell any other food?

Yes! Please contact us at info@ourkidiverse.com  or give us a call at 321-441-4898 for a complete list of available food for purchase

Is my party private or will my guests share the play area and party rooms with guests from other parties?

Walk-in guests will be in the play areas, but your party room is 100% private and your party will have their own area to celebrate the special guest. Don’t worry, our facility has almost 10,000 sq ft, so there is plenty of room for all! However if you would like to have have a private party please do give us a call and we will be able to assist you with times and prices that would work best for you.

What if I need to reschedule my party?

We require at least 14 days’ advance notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your party. You may apply your deposit to any available date or time within the next 3 months.  Any party cancelled with less than 14 days notice will forfeit their deposit. Any party cancelled with less than 7 days before the party will forfeit their payment. We will work with you on weather related delays and do not count that as a cancellation. Guests who fail to cancel (no call/no show) will be charged for 100% of the total party price (no exceptions).

Do you have a cake vendor that I can order a cake from?

Yes! Contact us for more details at info@ourkidiverse.com

Can I use my own decorations and/or paper products in the party room?

Although tablecloths and paper products are included in the party package, you are welcome to use your own themed table top decorations and/or paper products in the party room. To preserve the integrity of our party rooms, we do not permit wall or ceiling decorations, streamers, silly string, confetti, or piñatas.

Are there any additional items I need to bring to the party?

If you will be bringing a cake (no ice cream cake), please bring a serving knife, candles, and a lighter (no matches please).

Are characters allowed at parties?

Yes! Contact us for more details at events@ourkidiverse.com

What if I am late for my scheduled party time? What if my guests are late?

We understand that circumstances happen, however, our parties start promptly at the scheduled time. We might be able to extend your party time if there's no other party after yours as long as there's availability for a small fee. If your party begins after your scheduled time due to waiting for late guests, you will have less time in the play area and, possibly, the party room. If your guests arrive late and you have already started your party, we will escort your guest to your party.

What are your weekend party start times?

On Saturdays, our parties begin at 10:00am, with the last party starting at 8:00pm. On Sundays, our parties begin at 10:30am with the last party starting at 6:30pm.

What assistance is provided in the party room?

Lots! Your Kidiverse Party Host will thoroughly prepare the room so that it is clean, tidy, and organized for your group. Then, your host will setup the party room with any items you may have brought such as cake or cupcakes. We will take care of any items your guests might bring such as cards or birthday presents for the guest of honor! During your time in the party room, your host will be able to provide more supplies, food, or drinks, take care of spills, and be sure that everything runs smoothly for you and the guest of honor!

How can I order additional food for our party, goody bags, and other party options?

We will call you 2 days prior to your party to confirm your guest count. At that time, you’ll have an opportunity to order pizza, beverages,  balloons, and any other addons if you haven’t already.

Can I bring my own goody bags and/or balloons?

Yes and no! You may bring your own goody bags and balloons. However, all balloons must be weighted (tied to a weight) and cannot be distributed individually to your guests. They must remain in the party room and your party host will help transfer them to your car when the party is over. Due to the ceiling height (22 feet) of our main play area, you can see how “escaped” balloons could be a major problem! And goody bags can't be given out until the end of the party to avoid the distractions and the mess that they might make.

Do I need to stay at the party?

The parent(s) of the guest of honor is required to stay at the party. Other parents/guardians are welcome to stay and enjoy the fun, but may also drop off and pick up their children. Taking responsibility for these children will be at the sole discretion of the reserving parents.

Do you provide ice for drinks?

No, but our drinks are cold!

How many slices are in a pizza?

Pizzas are cut into 12 “kiddie” slices. 1 pizza is included in the Universe party package, 2 pizzas in the Multiverse party package and 3 pizzas are included in the Omniverse and Private party package.

How much pizza and drinks should I order for the adults?

We recommend one Large pizza for every 5 adults. We will box any leftovers for you to take home. You may also purchase additional drinks for the adults in your group.

What if less/more kids show up on the day of the party after I have placed my pizza, food, drink?

Unfortunately, pizza orders are placed the night before and cannot be changed on the day of your party. We can box up any leftovers.  You may purchase additional drinks on the day of the party.

What if there is inclement weather the day of our party?

In the event of inclement weather, we will work with you on a sensible approach taking into account the current weather conditions. If it is necessary to reschedule the party, we will work with you to find a new date that is within three (3) months of the original date. At the time we agree to reschedule the event, the customer is responsible for 100% of the party price.
